This marks the 36th time that Caen has served as a stage city for the Tour. In 2025, as part of the city’s Millennium celebrations, the 112th edition of the Tour will pass through the city of William the Conqueror.

The official start will take place at the Tour Leroy, after which the riders will head toward the University, the Botanical Garden, the Colline aux Oiseaux, and finally the Memorial, before riding through the neighboring towns: Saint-Contest, Cambes-en-Plaine, Colomby-Anguerny, Thaon, Cairon, Rosel, and Gruchy.

The return to Caen will be from the northwest via the Chemin-Vert district, then Place du Canada, before passing in front of the majestic Caen City Hall. The finish line will be at Place Foch, facing the Prairie.
